Crawdaddy’s Creole Kitchen‘s co-owner and mixologist, Veronica Kallas, shared the recipe for their Mississippi River Margaritawith us – giving us a taste of New Orleans at home.
Ingredients:
- 1 1⁄2 oz. Mezcal
- 1⁄2 oz. Triple Sec
- 1 1⁄2 oz. Lime
- 3/4 oz. Simple syrup
- 2 Basil leaves
- Blueberries and blackberries
Method
- Muddle basil and berries in shaker tin
- Add mezcal, triple sec, and lime
- Shake
- Fine strain over ice in a rocks glass
- Garnish with a lime wheel and blueberries
