Crawdaddy’s Creole Kitchen‘s co-owner and mixologist, Veronica Kallas, shared the recipe for their King Cake Milk Punch with us – giving us a taste of New Orleans at home.
Ingredients:
Makes about 4 liters
- 4 cups whole milk
- 2 cups cream
- 1/2 cup King Cake syrup
- 1/4 cup praline syrup
- 2 & 1/2 cups bourbon
- 1 & 1/4 cups amaretto
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- Grated cinnamon
- Mardi Gras colored sprinkles
Method:
Serve in rocks glass over ice
- Combine milk and cream
- Add remaining parts, stirring lightly
- Dip rim of a rocks glass in simple syrup and rub the rim in some sprinkles
- Grate cinnamon over cocktail
