2017 American Gold Cup: World-Class Show Jumping in North Salem

Celebrating over four decades of equestrian excellence, the historic American Gold Cup showcased an international field of world-class athletes as well as exciting family friendly entertainment over the course of five days, September 13–17, in the heart of scenic North Salem, New York, at Old Salem Farm.

More than 5,400 fans were in attendance for the American Gold Cup’s grand finale on Sunday, September 17, where Devin Ryan and Eddie Blue of the United States triumphed. The popular show jumping event annually attracts a star-studded field of horses and athletes, including Olympic champions, and features high-end shopping, family-friendly activities, live music and more.

“Thank you to Morrissey Management Group and everyone at Old Salem Farm,” said two-time U.S. Olympic gold medalist, runner-up of the 2017 American Gold Cup and New York native, McLain Ward. “We all love the American Gold Cup. This is my hometown and I am very proud to have this event here.”
