FIB Hosts Fashion Show to Combat Hunger

Filling in the Blanks (FIB), a Fairfield County-based non-profit that fights childhood hunger by providing children in need with meals on the weekend, hosted itโ€™s Fourth Annual Benefit Luncheon & Fashion Show at Mitchellโ€™s of Westport.

Co-founders Tina Kramer and Shawnee Knight chaired the annual event which was attended by women from NYC and Fairfield County. Models walked down a custom white lacquered runway wearing items from designers included Valentino, Veronica Beard, Fendi, Alexander McQueen and Roland Mouret. Guests enjoyed wine and champagne provided by Wagon Wheel Fine Wines and Spirits and a delicious lunch was created by Marcia Selden Catering.

High-top tables lined the runway decorated with colorful centerpieces and each guest received a gift bag adorned with beautiful paper flowers which were made by children from Roxbury Elementary school, makeup from and cosmetic bags by LOLO.

Founded in 2013 by two Fairfield County residents, FIB strives to remove the obstacle of food insecurity faced by thousands of children by providing children in need with weekend meals. This program currently serves more than 850 children in Fairfield and Westchester counties.
