Fireside Tasting at Stew Leonard’s Brings Attention to Red Cross Efforts

Guests chatted over wine and spirits by the fireplace at the Fireside Sippers winetasting event at Stew Leonard’s in Norwalk, CT, on October 20. Hosted by the American Red Cross and Stew’s, the event brought together distributors of 40 different wines, beers, cordials and spirits to taste. Guests had the chance to take home any of five door prizes and enjoy a spread of food pairings for each of the samplings, the most popular of which was a Bon Bon chocolate liquor. The event is part of an ongoing series of Fireside Chats held at Stew Leonard’s second floor board room to bring attention to the American Red Cross and its campaign to reduce fire injuries and deaths by 25 percent by 2019.
