Focused on a Cure for Crohn’s & Colitis

The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation hosted its annual Focus on a Cure event at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich in Greenwich, Connecticut. The event raised more than $700,000 to help find a cure for Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis. In addition to searching for a cure, the Foundation aims to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. The event included a popular silent auction and raffle, with NBC 4 New York Weather Anchor David Price serving as Master of Ceremonies and Nanci Pittman, M.D., being honored as Doctor of the Year. Brad Fiedler was named Rising Star within the organization and Julie Brandes, Nancy Pundyk and Allyson Simon served as co-chairs for this year’s successful event.
