Greenwich United Way Raises Funds to Help Families

On Sunday, October 1, Vineyard Vines hosted a fundraising event for Greenwich United Way, which builds collaboration among agencies to foster self-sufficiency, help people in crisis, support seniors, and strengthen children and families. The event raised $2,600 for critical human service programs in the Greenwich community. Claudel Larose, a.k.a. DJ Mizzy, entertained shoppers with upbeat music and By The Way Bakery provided delicious gluten/dairy-free cupcakes. The first 40 Vineyard Vines customers that spent more than $150 each received a gift from Méli-Mélo Creperie or Bistro Versailles. Information about the Greenwich Jr United Way and Greenwich United Way Reading Champions programs was distributed during the event along with a volunteer signup.
