LifeWTR Event: Charity & Art

On January 10th, LIFEWTR, a Pepsi brand, launched their Series 4 bottle design for their premium water at The Loading Dock in Stamford, CT. Canadian surrealist artist KRIVVY, one of the three artists who designed the new bottle collection, attended and created an original piece of artwork on-site. The cartoonist and illustrator donated her latest piece to the silent auction to benefit Silvermine Arts Center. DJ TJ Mizell—the son of late Jam Master Jay of RUN DMC—provided music for the evening.

Silvermine Art Center’s Outreach Education Program provides substantive curriculum-based art programs in the Norwalk and Stamford public schools. The organization’s mission is to give experiences that expand the mind, nourish the soul and connect people through the universal language of art.

“It’s wonderful to see LIFEWTR supporting Arts in Education at the local level, and the partnership with Silvermine right here in PepsiCo’s backyard. The highlight of the evening, for me, was hearing LIFEWTR Series 4 artist KRIVVY speak about how art has empowered her and given her purpose,” says Melanie Cappella, Director, Marketing, PepsiCo.
