The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Names Its Man & Woman of the Year at Gala

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society honored two area residents for their outstanding fundraising efforts at the annual Man & Woman of the Year gala on June 11 at the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich, CT. Michael Fisher, senior partner at White Rapids Capital in NYC, and Noreen White, co-President of Acacia Financial in Montclair, NJ, received the distinction this year. The designation is given at the culmination of annual ten-week fundraising campaign, which supports LLSโ€™s blood cancer research in honor of local survivors. Among the guests at the gala were sponsors, fundraising campaign teams, and others involved in the nonprofitโ€™s community. There was a cocktail reception followed by a three-course meal and entertainment from DJ John Pagano. Bob Marrone, the anchor of Westchester Talk Radio, served as the eventโ€™s emcee.
