Golfers gathered on the greens at the Stanwich Club in Greenwich where ONSF, in conjuction with Greenwich Hospital, hosted its 10th Anniversary Golf Outing. The outing included lunch, a round of golf, and later that evening, cocktails and dinner, along with an auction. Auction items were a variety of items and experiences, such as a party catered by Watson’s with Horseneck Wines, a chef’s dinner party created by Albert DeAngelis, and a weekend drive in a Bentley Bentayga SUV from Miller Motorcars.
The event, which raised $250,000, benefited ONSF clinical research, medical education and community outreach programs. At the event, ONSF president and orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Paul Sethi, revealed that progress continues to be made towards the organization’s major research initiative, Unraveling the Opioid Epidemic in Post-Surgical Patients. State Senator Scott Frantz was also on hand at the event, and presented an honorary citation to ONSF Board Member Emeritus, Frank Corvino. Corvino is the former CEO and President of Greenwich Hospital and CEO of Corvino & Corvino Consulting, who was instrumental in creating the alliance between ONSF and Greenwich Hospital.
