Runners and walkers of all ages and levels gathered at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center in Old Greenwich, CT, for a 9 a.m. start as ONSF held its 7TH Annual 5K Run/Walk & Expo titled “Race to Stop the Opioid Epidemic.” DJ Anthony Radice provided the music and Aux Délices provided food and beverages. Unused and expired medications were deposited in the Greenwich Police Department drop box. Proceeds benefited ONSF’s opioid research project with specific emphasis on eventually eliminating the use of narcotics post-operatively. Race sponsors included Serendipity magazine, Greenwich Hospital, CHASE, Granoff Architects, Houlihan Lawrence, Vineyard Vines, John and Lile Gibbons, Greentree Toyota Danbury and others.
