Rose to Runway Event Raises More Than $100,000 to Fund Research and Treatment for Cystic Fibrosis

It was a night of stunning fall fashions and courageous spirit as 200 guests attended the second annual Rose to Runway Fashion Show on October 20 at Abigail Kirsch at The Loading Dock in Stamford, CT. Angela’s and Fred’s provided the looks—fall’s hottest fashions all currently available for purchase in their Rye stores. Honoree Julia Rae, dressed in Dolce & Gabbana, received this year’s Spirit of Courage award from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Greater New York Chapter. Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and asthma at birth, she began singing and founded the nonprofit Singing at the Top of My Lungs to build awareness and fund research for a cure for cystic fibrosis. Crowned Miss Philadelphia in 2015 and a recent graduate of Fordham University, she is living in NYC and working as an actor, singer, model and advocate. This year’s Rose to Runway event raised more than $100,000 to fight cystic fibrosis.
