Stamford Museum & Nature Center’s Spring on the Farm Was Two Days of Fun, Food and Animals!

The annual two-day Spring on the Farm event on May 14 and 15 brought over 2,000 attendees to the Stamford Museum & Nature Center for outdoor adventures on the museum’s 118-acre property. The weekend activities included hay rides, food trucks, cotton candy, face painting and live music. Kids were also able to get interactive, hands-on experience at the museum’s working farm, with tours of the animals, demonstrations of sheep shearing, wool dying and spinning, llama trekking and a chance to feed the resident otters. The event also featured an art exhibition by the Stamford Loft Artists, with opportunities for guests to purchase the artwork, and a plant sale.
