Walk to End Lupus in Norwalk

Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease in which the immune system is out of balance, causing it to become destructive to any tissue or organ in the body, including the skin, joints, heart, lungs, kidneys, and brain. The Lupus Foundation of America is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, education, and advocacy. To support their mission, the Lupus Foundation organizes the Walk to End Lupus Now across the country which provide all people affected by lupus, their families, and the larger community the opportunity to come together to raise funds for lupus research, increase awareness of lupus, and rally public support for those who suffer from its brutal impact. The Walk to End Lupus Now CT-Norwalk took place on Sunday, October 15th at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk, CT.
