This popular modern Latin tapas restaurant is offering a special themed prix fixe menu with appetizers like Maine lobster bisque (finished with Brioche croutons and corn salsita) and entrees that include grilled rib eye steak (paired with truffle essence mashed potatoes and a basil-sundried tomato sauce) for $49 per person. That price includes a chef’s tasting of dessert.

SerendipityDessert and Diamonds at Serendipity 3, NYC
This New York institution is known for its Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, which John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale fell in love over in the rom-com Serendipity. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, the restaurant will be offering a special “Dining with Diamonds” experience with diamond expert Edward Edgilioglu of Euphoria New York. Couples can purchase their stunning diamond heart pendants (from $250) along with their sweet treats.

Try the tea smoked mussels and the prawn cocktail (options for the “ocean” course) and the Aussie lamb chops or the pork sausage (from the “land” course). For dessert, enjoy traditional Australian sweets like Pavlova or Lamingtons.
