These nurses doctors and staffers on the front lines of hospitals in our area are putting the community first in the world’s battle against the COVID-19 pandemic. We at Serendipity want to say thank you to these and all the essential workers we rely on for help.

Montefiore collaborated with artist Tristan Eaton to create iconic art that captures the heroism of all nurses’ efforts. A large-scale mural of the image was erected in Manhattan at 34th Street and 8th Avenue for all New York— and the world—to see.

NORWALK HOSPITAL

Norwalk Hospital Emergency Medical Services, including paramedics and emergency medical technicians (EMTs), providing lifesaving care during this pandemic, as they do every day.

Physicians, cancer infusion nurses, office nurses, medical assistants and clerical staff from the C. Anthony and Jean Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital. The incredible oncology staff continue to provide safe care to cancer patients during this pandemic. Cancer patients are among the most vulnerable to COVID-19 and the hospital takes every precaution to protect them.
