Family & Children’s Agency’s IMAGINE Benefit

Family & Children’s Agency (FCA), a leading nonprofit organization based in Norwalk and serving all of Fairfield County, is thrilled to announce the success of its annual IMAGINE benefit, held at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich on Friday, May 12, 2023. The event, featuring TODAY’s Craig Melvin as the Master of Ceremonies and renowned auctioneer Lydia Fenet, captivated attendees and raised critical funds to support FCA’s vital programs.

“There are countless families out there who are struggling, who do not have access to the resources and support they need to heal and grow… so that is one of the many reasons Family & Children’s Agency is so vitally important. They are literally providing a lifeline to families and children in need. A way to find hope and strength in the face of adversity,” said Melvin.

One of the highlights of the live auction was the sale of a bench painted by students in FCA’s ASPIRE after-school program. This unique piece truly showcases the creativity of the students in the program and received enthusiastic bidding from passionate supporters. In addition, the paddle raise broke all previous records. Attendees embraced the opportunity to contribute to FCA’s mission by generously raising their paddles. This display of philanthropy demonstrates the unwavering dedication of FCA’s supporters to make positive change in the lives of vulnerable children, families, adults, and seniors in our community.

The funds raised during the IMAGINE benefit will play a crucial role in helping FCA prevent child abuse and neglect through parenting education and guidance, build families through adoption, educate middle and high school students, support children in foster care, house the homeless, help women struggling with addiction, and keep seniors safe and cared for in their homes.

“We are incredibly grateful to Craig Melvin, Lydia Fenet, and all the attendees who made IMAGINE an overwhelming success,” said Robert F. Cashel, President & CEO at Family & Children’s Agency. “The support we received will enable us to continue providing life-changing services to those who need them most. Together, we are helping people in need overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.”
