The Fearless Angel Project: Providing Support for Families Dealing with Autism

Izabela O'Brien

Izabela O’Brien took to the runway at Serendipity’s Fashion Night Out for The Fearless Angel Project, for which she serves as founder and president. Here’s why she started this fantastic Greenwich-CT based charity that provides economically challenged families with therapeutic and biomedical scholarships for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum.

“I realized on my own journey of having a daughter on the autism spectrum that there are thousands of families who struggle both emotionally and economically to provide their children with proper interventions. I quickly noticed that the therapists, teachers and physicians in the autism community were relentless in helping children reach their fullest potential and referred to these professional as fearless angels. As a result of collaborating with these professionals The Fearless Angel Project was born, and, in return, numerous economically challenged families living with autism in Fairfield and Westchester counties have been provided with therapeutic and biomedical scholarships.”
