Warmer days have you dreaming of delicious and refreshing cocktails? You’re in luck: There are plenty of new and seasonal drinks to choose from this year, whether you want to elevate your wine list or kick things up a notch with a spicy tequila infusion. We’ve rounded up a few of our favorites—and tapped Clare Galterio, the TV host and entertaining expert behind Cocktails on Clare (@ClareGalterio), which showcases great drinks and party ideas, to create some original recipes you can make at home.


Serendipity Summer

Ingredients:
1 bottle of Terrazas de los Andes
2⁄3 cup Aperol
3 cups fresh watermelon, cubed
1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
2 tablespoons honey Orange wheel, for garnish

  1. Put wine in a large plastic Ziplock bag and freeze overnight.
  2. In a blender, add all ingredients and blend.
  3. Pour into a wine glass and serve with an oversized orange wheel.

Host a Virtual Wine Tasting with Friends

Esteemed wine producer Wölffer Estates is taking the vineyard experience to a whole new level, with the launch of their virtual tastings. You and up to 30 of your friends can select from either the White Horse package ($175 per tasting) or the Rosé package (shown at left, $150 per tasting). Wölffer will then send the wines to you—allow up to 10 days for shipping—and, once you’re gathered with your group, will provide a live tasting presentation with one of their wine experts to teach you the intricate details of each wine you try. Spicy Pineapple Paloma

Ingredients:
Honey, for rim
Crystal coarse seat salt, for rim
3 ounces fresh grapefruit juice
1 1⁄2 ounces Dano’s Dangerous Pineapple & Jalapeno Tequila
1⁄2 of a lime, squeezed
Lime slice, for garnish

  1. Rim glass using honey and crystal coarse sea salt.
  2. Shake up all ingredients and pour over ice.
  3. Garnish with a lime slice.


Gin N’ (Peach) Juice Martini

Ingredients:
1 1⁄2 ounces Hendricks Midsummer Solstice
1⁄2 ounce St. Germain
1 1⁄2 ounces fresh peach purée (To make: cut fresh peach with a splash of water and blend in a blender)
Squeeze of lemon
Lemon wheel, for garnish

  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker and pour into a martini glass.
  2. Garnish with a lemon wheel.

Bring a Local Favorite Home

From the popular restaurant MIKU SUSHI comes three of their signature cocktails to go. The cocktail selection will rotate weekly to include some of their most popular options, from Miku Saketini to Sakura Garden. Available in Greenwich, CT, and at their sister restaurant KUMO Sushi Lounge in Scarsdale, NY. Each bottle contains about two servings, $14.
