“We love the discovery of getting to know our clients and their stories, hearing their vision for what the day will be like and we use that as an inspiration,” says Shari Lebowitz, paperpreneur and owner of Bespoke Designs in Westport, CT. “Sure we explore colors and textures and type treatments to get a read on what really ignites their enthusiasm, but ultimately we design an entire universe that isn’t so much a prescription as it is a feeling.”

The studio can we create a cohesive collection of paper elements, from programs to napkins to unexpected pieces, like playing cards. And often, it’s beyond the typical: A recent invitation suite was scented with the wedding venue’s signature fragrance, for example.
