This event attracts three-quarters of a million fans to the biggest of tennis’s four major championships. This year marks the 50th anniversary and will debut the new, 14,000-seat Louis Armstrong Stadium, complete with retractable roof, as it completes its five-year transformation. Fans can see some great tennis for free the week before (August 21 to 26) at the U.S. Open Fan Week during the U.S. Open Qualifying Tournament, where players vie to get into the main draws. Then enjoy the Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day powered by Net Generation on August 25, which features on-court activities for kids and a stadium show with the game’s top stars and musical performers.
