When choosing window treatments, how do you decide what’s best for your space? With all the great window treatment options available through Hunter Douglas and our own custom drapery workrooms, we can offer our customers beautiful solutions for light control and privacy, in addition to satisfying every aesthetic and style. We have a wide selection of fabrics from the major design houses and manufacturers. We also sell motorized window treatments, as many of our customers are automating their homes.
What are the best ways to incorporate new design trends into a space? One of the most popular trends we are seeing now is adding a fun and functional runner to your staircase, or an area rug to your family room. The Dash & Albert product line includes a variety of colors, styles and patterns in indoor/outdoor and natural fibers, at a very affordable price point. We are also very pleased to see wallpaper making a strong comeback over the last couple of years. One of the most popular trends in wall coverings continues to be Grasscloth, with brands such as Phillip Jeffries, Zoffany and Thibaut being our best-sellers. We carry all of the finest brands and the top designers from around the world at every price point.
Benjamin Moore’s Color of the Year for 2018 is Caliente. How would you incorporate this color in a design theme? Caliente is a bold and fresh red, perfect for a fun accent wall or a front door. We are also using it in fabric and wallpaper as an accent to the neutral color pallet that many customers have now. Deeper blues are also popular paint color choices, as are some of the bright citrus shades, for both interior and exterior. Inspiration from nature and our own coastal environment are always top of mind with our customers—and so much fun to incorporate into a design plan.
How are paint finishes used as a design element? Choosing the right paint and the right finish can make all the difference in your project. Whether you need a washable matte for your kitchen or a super high gloss for your front door, we offer a variety of paints with the finest pigments and ingredients available. From Century, the new small-batch soft touch matte finish paint from Benjamin Moore, to Farrow & Ball and the luxurious Brilliant finish marine quality enamel from Fine Paints of Europe, we will work with you to achieve the look and feel that you want with the durability to last.
